Only through uncertainty is there potential for understanding.
— Beau Lotto
An interesting central point of his investigation: a proof that human vision evolved not to see what the world is rather to see what is more useful.
We don’t see through our senses only, those give us only information. It could be anything. We see through our experience and knowledge, we learned to see. This means that we need more than information, we need knowledge.
I’ll say that what make us humans is the ability to take the information and transform it into knowledge, mix it and create wisdom from it.
